Forage Quilt made from an Old Apron

I get a lot of pleasure making something from an item that is past its use by date. In this case a worn and tattered old apron has a new life in the form of a small quilt.After carefully laundering and unpicking there was enough to 'build' a pieced quilt of simple squares. Some of the squares are pieced and patched. The apron strings form a border top and bottom.
