Apron Scraps

Nearly the last of the scraps from the apron. Today sewed together a quilt, pillow and the pocket is being used as is for the sheet. The tiny quilt is an odd shape as I could not bear to trim the shape to a regular size. As it worked out the shape links with the little pillow and is like a small relief sculpture.The quilt is backed with linen and the layers are tufted/tied with cotton thread to secure the layers
